Explosive chemistry is made when you combine two unlike things to come up with a third, unpredicted possibility. Saturday night's Natyanjali Dance Festival was one of these moments when dance chemistry created something entirely new. "Incantation (fusion & drama)" was one of the better examples of Natyanjali Dance Company’s style and Bana Ramanath's considerable talents as a choreographer. Her use of repeated gesture filled the stage with multiple textures and meanings. Each form of dance blended beautifully with the Indian lexicon of movement, and the results were a powerful testimony to the language of world dance.
